Anthropic AI safety filter inactive for nearly a year

Anthropic reported that its internal filtering system designed to detect biological and chemical weapons risks was inactive for approximately 12 months. During this period, around 50,000 contractors submitted roughly 133 million unfiltered requests to its AI models.
