Fake OpenAI Codex installer deceives Mac users into installing malware

Cato Networks' research team has identified a macOS attack campaign using a fraudulent OpenAI Codex installer. The scheme prompts victims to execute malware via a Terminal command, a social engineering tactic known as ClickFix.
